Los Angeles – October 10, 2023, the trailblazing interactive and immersive video start-up, is set to unveil a groundbreaking new feature at Adobe MAX 2023, allowing creators to use Adobe’s Express new editing tools within Stornaway’s interactive video web editor.

Creative teams can now craft interactive journeys through an unlimited number of video clips, harnessing the power of Adobe’s cutting-edge video editing and AI content creation tools – all inside’s web interface.

Stornaway is the first company to integrate Adobe’s video editing tools inside its own web app, using Adobe’s new Express Embed software development kit.

Stornaway’s “miraculously simple and intuitive” design interface, combined with Adobe’s world-leading video tools, is unlocking what co-founder Ru Howe describes as “the inevitable interactive future of video on the web, in apps, on TV, everywhere.”

This integration aligns with Stornaway’s vision to democratize the creation of interactive and immersive storytelling for non-coders and to integrate with existing production tools such as Adobe and Unity for multi-platform delivery, rather than building a proprietary walled-garden platform.

Kate Dimbleby, CEO and co-founder of, said, “This integration with Adobe Express feels really special and honestly a bit magical.. It lets you use all the amazing things that Adobe has built into the new Express, like stock and AI graphics and templates – all inside Stornaway’s interactive story mapping tools. Bridging Adobe and Unity, we’re trying to build the best possible interactive toolkit for the future of video.”

Ru Howe, CTO of, said, “Our dream at Stornaway is to make the creation process for interactive and immersive media much easier and more affordable for non-coding creatives. You can make and publish a project in minutes, without coding, on the web or even as an app. Embedding Adobe Express inside Stornaway makes it even easier for anyone worldwide to start making interactive and immersive videos.

In combination with Stornaway’s Unity plugin, creators can also export their Adobe Express-enhanced projects in minutes as apps for PC, mobile, game consoles, smart TVs and VR headsets.

With its template-based tools and real-time playback, Stornaway already empowers over 20,000 global creators to craft interactive video and 360° stories without coding.
