The Media Library is a powerful new feature in Stornaway that helps you manage and track your media across projects. It gives you a clear, read-only view of the video files you’ve uploaded, making it easier than ever to find, reference, and reuse assets.

The Media Library is available in two places:

Project-level Video Library:
Found in the Settings menu of each project, the project-level video library shows all the media files uploaded for that specific project. It’s a quick way to see what videos are in use without clicking through every island.

Gloval Media Library:
Located in the top-right menu, this library gives you a read-only view of all the video assets you’ve uploaded across all your projects. This is especially useful for those who want an overview of their entire media collection in one place.

Each media file listed in the Media Library includes the following details:

• File Name with a button to preview the media

• Duration of the video

• Resolution and Projection type (e.g. 2D or 3D)

• File Size

• Project(s) the asset is used in

You can also:

• Search by file name or project

• Sort the list by name, duration, file size, or usage

Note: The Media Library is currently read-only. This means you can view details and preview media, but uploading, editing or deleting files is still managed through the project interface.

No more clicking through each project to find a specific file. With built-in search and sort, the Media Library lets you find the videos you need in seconds, whether you’re looking by file name, project, or media details.
