Le Choix de Spécialité
by Havas Life Paris
Fresh from winning a raft of awards, Le Choix de Spécialité (or Choose Your Speciality) lets viewers explore different future career paths in medicine at their own pace. From a University lecture hall, viewers can choose from five different specialisms to follow.
Sometimes it’s just the simple act of giving the viewer agency that boosts engagement and watch times. If the viewer has taken the time to make a choice, they are already more invested in the video that follows. And it’s beautifully made too!
Taunton School Campus Map
by Bear House Media
Explore Taunton School’s excellent facilities in the order that interests you. This smart and seamless campus map lets viewers go straight to the areas that interest them the most, guided by voiceovers from Taunton School students.
By showcasing the school’s quality facilities in this way, prospective students can jump straight to their specific interests. There’s no waiting for a generic video to run through irrelevant topics. Taunton School also receives invaluable insight into the facilities that generate the most interest among prospects through the Stornaway Analytics dashboard.
Excursions in the United States
by Discovery Education
Ready to train the next generation of changemakers, Excursions in the United States presents a beautifully crafted immersive map. This map highlights different environmental challenges across the USA and explores possible solutions.
Student engagement rises as soon as learners can dictate their own path through the module or subject. Learners must lean in and actively participate, exploring subjects at their own time and pace. An inspiring example of interactive learning in action!
Hello Stranger
by Aviary Films
The perfect balance between film and video game. This interactive film follows a man trapped in his home by a hacker who forces him to play three video games to survive. You must play these games and make choices that determine his fate.
An enticing concept that blurs the line between film and video game. It comes with two watch modes, one for solo viewing and one for group viewing. This is high-quality, high-concept filmmaking!
Portal-Lore: Naica Cave
by Noura Zaher
Exploring the possibilities of 360 VR, Portal-Lore jumps into the enchanting world of giant sword crystals through the eyes of a cave scientist. A voiceover explains more about the magic of the cave as you delve ever deeper.
As part of her MSc thesis, creator Noura Zaher looked at how extended reality could enhance art, education and storytelling to engage new audiences. This immersive way of exploring a cave that’s impossible to visit in reality, in her words, “significantly increased engagement and curiosity” and was selected for Courant3D / FINECAA XR Festival.
Poor Rabbits
by A Gray Space
After being the subject of Frankenstein-esque experiments, a pair of rabbits has got used to existing in a new state. The question is: should an attempt be made to return them to their original form? This interactive project presents the evidence, and the viewer gets to vote on their decision.
Curiosity is a powerful motivator for learning. Tell the story of your topic or module through interactive media, and you’ll be rewarded with higher engagement and higher knowledge retention. This is especially true for subjects like ethics, English or the arts, where students aren’t learning specific facts.
CrunchLabs Science Quiz
by CrunchLabs
A slick, interactive science quiz for 11–14 year olds (grades 6-8) from the pros at Class CrunchLabs. The smart quiz format presents questions one at a time and provides immediate explanations, helping viewers understand their responses and learn from each choice.
With a younger audience, this science quiz perfectly finds the balance between fun and informative, making the most of the interactive format to gently walk through the scientific subject.

The Owl and the Algorithm
by Bradley Jefferson
This project is proof that you don’t need an entire filmmaking crew to create an interactive film. This interactive fable explores moral and ethical choices in a range of challenges through the eyes of a series of cute forest animals.
The Owl and the Algorithm is a lovely example of what can be achieved with generative AI and some storytelling prowess. The power of interactive media is in the storytelling potential – and this interactive fable perfectly demonstrates that.
